The Hyderabad Consumer Expo is being organized from 8th to 27th July at the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally. A consumer exhibition-cum-sale, the expo houses more than 400 stalls dealing in various shopping categories including electronics, household appliances, real estate, telecommunication, FMCG, health & beauty, tours & travels, automobiles, educational services, IT products and clothing.

Shop here for a variety of garments, handicrafts, mobile accessories, computers, electronic & home appliances, furniture, gift items and jewelry. Local automobile dealers of Hyundai, Ford, Chevrolet and Tata Motors will also put up their temporary showrooms. Handicraft stalls from Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar feature many interesting buys such as toys, terracota, handlooms, ayurvedic products and artificial jewelry. There is a separate children's enclosure with inflatable toys, mini-train rides and other games. And for the hunger pangs, there are food courts serving fusion food and snacks, and fresh and hot stuff such as mirchi bhajjis, pav bhajis, dosas, Chinese food and ice creams.

During the evenings, there will be more entertainment featuring orchestras, antakshari competitions, mimicry programs, boogie-woogie dance competitions and fashion shows.
