The Hyderabad Cricket Association is organising the D-Division 1-Day Knockout Cricket Tournament, from 1st to 4th December, in which 10 club teams are participating, given below:

R R District, Hyderabad District, Satyam Colts, Shanthi, Hyderabad Wanderers, Lucky XI, Royal, Time, YMRC, and International

All the matches will be played at the Parade Grounds, in the knockout format. Under this format, every team plays only the next team - i. e., the 1st team plays the 2nd team, the 3rd team with the 4th, the 5th with the 6th and so on. The winner of the 1st match plays with the winner of the 2nd, the winner of the 3rd with the winner of the 4th, and vice versa, every round. All the participating teams had qualified from the league stages that were played during the months of August to November 2008.
