Classes are conducted by Vijaya Lakshmi, who has been been in this field for over 4 years, and has been conducting classes at Shilparamam for the past 3 years. She also specialises in candle making, and makes varieties like cake candles and floating candles.
The agarbatti making process uses herbal ingredients including herbal hair oil and shampoo, that soothe the senses. The materials needed are cost-effective and basic household articles, including soap, oil, detergent and phenoyl.
