In the flyover-brewed frenzy that swallows much of the Greenlands area, new businesses constantly come to life. One recent birth is Ze Living, that hatched in Feb 2008. A store with good interiors itself - hardwood flooring and old-world decor contributes to it - this one, in a limited way, deals exclusively in carpets and rugs.

There are the hand-tufted woollen carpets priced sanely between Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 5,000, depending on the size. One particular Bohemian-looking rug with dangling shredded leather straps impressed me, and was priced even more cost-effectively at Rs. 600 and upwards. The carpets and rugs apart, there is a large bed-linen collection including bedsheets, covers, pillows, pillow cases. Prices are again compassionate, at Rs. 500 to Rs. 3,000.

Ze Living may not be your must-go-to store in home furnishings, but you could definitely get yourself a couple of swell carpets. At these prices, even your conscience will give in.
