Voila is located in the heart of the contemporary Banjara Hills, right where City Center Mall bustles along with many other fresh and rising structures and businesses on the humming Road No. 1. The store is a chic cutely done 2-floored boutique with the men's section on the ground floor, and the women's and kids' wares part of the top floor.

Menswear includes lissome Jeans from D&G, Abercrombie and Armani, with down-to-earth pricing at Rs. 1,500-8,000. There are also tees from American Eagle Outfitters - dreadfully cheap starting at Rs. 300 (never in my life have I seen AE tees come in so cheap!) - Hugo Boss, Armani and some unknown designers. The shirts are both colorful and slickly designed (Rs. 700-3,000). One let down, if there is one, is the absence of every man's must-have - the Polo tee.

Clothing aside, Voila also presents men's dress shoes done by Gucci, Armani and Hugo Boss at Rs. 3,000-15,000.

On the top floor, Voila has fab fresh looks that are sure to impress everywhere from sidewalk cafes to rooftop bars. Femme fatales can find it all here - camisoles, tank tops, Jeans, miniskirts, formal wear, all priced reasonably. Then there are also cute handbags, shoes and jewelry from up-and-coming designers. The range in the kids section is limited, with shorts, Jeans and some shoes, all starting at Rs. 300 and ending at Rs. 2,000.

Voila is a sleek little boutique that struts some designer stuff, and makes haute couture enticingly affordable. It's barely 3 months old as we write this in March 2008, and to be judgemental would be evil at this stage. So here's hoping for a better and bigger boutique. Voila!
