Landscape Garden is located at the heart of Osmania University, and is more than just a forest with barricades erected around. It has 5 gates and none of them is open, with only the revolving gates being used for entering. And if you are slight of health, then they offer tough resistance.

The garden is meant only for the students of OU, and the signboard warns of prosecution for trespassing. Of course, no one takes this seriously. The garden has a whole lot of grass (of the green kind!), and if you take the liberty of lying down, you get up with an itch.

Landscape Garden is used by the students for studying during college hours, and the fact that it has a Lord Shiva temple, complete with a snake pit, makes praying for divine intervention during exams convenient.

Do not expect to find a toilet here, since there is none. But the tank with "Drinking water" written on it delivers actual drinking water. If you feel hungry, you can go out to the stall and buy whatever is available.

On the surface you will not find any couples doing their routine under the trees, but if you dare to venture slightly deeper into the woods, it is a completely different story. There is also a pond and an overbridge, but the former cannot be used for swimming or killing yourself as the water has almost dried up.

Landscape Garden is almost 600 acres of greenery suitable for a morning walk and an exercise schedule, which is what a lot of people do in the early hours.
