Three years ago, the wilderness on both sides of Road No. 36 in Jubilee Hills was demarcated from the main road, and a park was conceived. Today, it doesn't look much different - though amidst the wilderness you might spot an odd person strolling around, prudently avoiding the uneveness of the ground and the acrid stench from the walls (with "don't pass urine" written in bold) surrounding it. For the keeps, the name's Rainbow Garden.

Although the name of the garden suggests colors and splendor, the visuals that confront you are disappointing. The park is custom-designed for walkers - a narrow, cemented path leads you in and out of the park by the time your calories complain of genocide. And the plants being raised on either side of this path aren't too catchy - they are supposedly 'botanically rich' species planted by the Urban Forestry Department.

However, I reiterate that the park was formulated for walkers residing nearby, and expecting aesthetics would be undesirable. I wonder - why do they need a park in this area when almost all the houses in this stinking rich colony have lawns of their own? None of my business, and none of yours too, unless you have reincarnated with Che Guevara's soul.

Honestly, there's hardly anybody who would want to visit this park unless he has a sackful of weed to consume, like the scores of shaggy looking 'rastafarians' that visit the place.

Do yourself a favor - don't take your family or boyfriend/girlfriend to this place for a picnic. You won't just be disappointed, you'll hunt me down.
