Most of Sarovar's crowd comes from offices nearby and
British Library next door. It's a quiet place that doesn't see too many visitors at once, but people who have stumbled on it tend to return.
The food is basic, but it's wholesome and quite tasty. Sarovar serves good chicken soup for Rs. 20, and their Executive Meal at Rs. 40 is another excellent deal. Try the Chicken Grilled Sandwich at Rs. 30 - it makes for a light meal. The Kabab Rolls are also popular, as are the pizzas, which are priced at a maximum of Rs. 50. The Mushroom and Chilli Chicken Pizzas are good. Sarovar also serves ice-cream, but we'd suggest you give it a miss. You're better off sticking to the milkshakes or fresh fruit juices, both of which are priced at Rs. 20.
It's easy to see why people keep coming back to Sarovar. Good food, reasonable prices and a little peace if you want to work or have some reading to catch up with.
