Editorial Review

Here at last is a sincere effort from a filmmaker towards creating sexual awareness among the populace. This one lives upto its claim of ‘depicting sexual problems across all age groups’. How the audience wished, it did a little more than that!

Anyway, the hub of activity around here is the Breze hospital, named after the director himself. One Dr. Ravi, a sex specialist, runs the hospital and sponsors the medical education of a few students. A couple of them, Renu and Dinesh, join Ravi at the same hospital.

The trio now forms a love triangle – Renu is in love with Ravi and Dinesh hankers after the former. Ravi, who explains to Renu the risks of a marriage between a couple of a vastly different age, resolves the situation. In between all this, we have people walking in and out of the hospital with a plethora of sexual problems.

The disappointment among the audiences was abundantly obvious. The perseverance of the audience, which keeps coming back to these movies, reminds me of a joke. A rustic goes to watch a movie, which has a woman just about to undress for a swim when a train passes by. As the train leaves the screen, the woman appears refreshed and redressed. Overcoming his disappointment, the guy keeps coming back to the theater.

One day, the manager asks him the reason for it. He replies that he comes back in the hope that someday the train would be late and he would get see the woman naked. Perhaps a better remedy would have been to board the train. In the case of the audience, they can make a film themselves.

As far as this movie is concerned, one hopes that it hasn’t left the audience with any misgivings – either general or personal.
