Many have suggested good hotels run by Hyderabadi Muslims, who are experts. But one should taste biryani @ Yatri Nivas, S.P. Road, near Paradise. Excellent Biryani.

For me, it is Shahji ka Dhaba at Lakdi-ka-Pul (at the crossroads opposite Hotel Ayodhya and next to the petrol pump) that serves the best biryani.

I would sugget people to try out the biryani at Mandar at Toli Chowki (near 4seasons), i will rate it at par with Shadab best that I have had.
