With 748 players, this is easily the biggest tournament in any sport the city has seen in a while. And fortunately for the audiences and unfortunately for the players, in the lists are some national players.

Where: St Paul's Table Tennis Academy, Hyderguda (1.8 km) -
The lamenting about Indian football has escalated from Bhutia to FIFA itself. Hopefully there's a lot of future here.
When: 30-Jun-08 to 6-Jul-08, 3:00pm
Where: Lal Bazaar Football Grounds, Trimulgherry (10.4 km) -
Around 50 state players are expected to participate in this event. Yes, you didn't know there were 50 state players in this event. You may still be right - buckle up, you may just win with beginner's luck.
When: Sunday, 29-Jun-08, 3:00pm
Where: Indus World School, Yapral -
Includes both doubles and singles matches, for boys and girls, for students upto class X.
When: 28-Jun-08 to 29-Jun-08, 10:00am
Where: Anandnagar Community Hall, Khairatabad (1.9 km) -
In various disciplines in the Under-14, Under-16, Under-18 and Under-20 age groups, for boys and girls. The winners get to represent Hyderabad - and, as importantly, their parents' pride.
When: Monday, 30-Jun-08, 1:30pm
Where: Osmania University, Tarnaka (11.3 km)
