A Patola Art Exhibition was held from December 25 to 31 at Labels Pop-up Space in Banjara Hills, featuring a variety of traditional Indian textiles. The exhibition was inaugurated by socialite Sushila Bokadia, who highlighted the display of Patola art saris, handloom fabrics and silk products.

The event brought together an assortment of regional textile traditions, including Patola, Bandhani, Paithani, Zari Kota, Kashmiri, Kanjivaram, Chanderi and Banarasi saris. Among the notable items were Rajkot saris, Patola dupattas, shawls and Patan saris.

The exhibition allowed attendees to explore silk garments from various Indian States, with silk saree weavers and cooperative societies presenting their work. The event was a significant gathering for showcasing the craftsmanship of traditional Indian fabrics, with a focus on the artistry of handwoven textiles.

The visitors had the opportunity to learn more about these unique textiles and the skilled artisans behind them. The exhibition also coincided with the wedding season, with many looking to explore traditional attire for upcoming celebrations.
